There is a Chinese Proverb that an invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle but will never break. The idea being that the gods tied a red string around the ankles of our soul mates.

Shakespeare’s classic tragedy about star-crossed lovers in the midst of a violent family feud has been enticing audiences for over 400 years. Romeo and Juliet continues to transcend all centuries. Romeo and Juliet is a play that questions what every generation and every age holds most dear. Celebrate lunar new year romance with one of the most beautiful plays ever written.

Theatre@LASALLE presents the Level 1 and 2 BA (Hons) Acting program in collaboration with BA (Hons) Theatre+Performance, Diploma in Dance, The School of Contemporary Music, and BA (Hons) and Diploma in Technical Theatre and Production Management in William Shakespeare’s timeless tale of star-crossed lovers and forbidden desire. Enjoy an evening of poetry and passion and support the next generation of theatre artists.
