Calling all the women entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs and change agents in Kuala Lumpur to join us for an afternoon of learning, mingling and new {W} friends on Saturday, 16th November. This month we're going to be exploring the charted yet unfamiliar territory of social media marketing with two speakers who will be sharing their learnings and experience.

This event is RM25 per person for any 3 sweet or savoury bites and free flow of iced tea all afternoon :DTo soak up all this information we'll be at The Tea Republic curtesy of Sumita J. Singam. An interior designer by profession who adores tea, she founded Tea Republic with the inspired tagline to "celebrate the citeazen within"!

Meet Meredith Wallace. She's going to tell us how to use social media as part of your business strategy. She is currently a Social Media Analyst at the digital agency Lion&Lion Digital in Kuala Lumpur. She previously has worked in London for Wild Media Ltd., where she also completed her Masters at University College London (UCL). Meredith is an avid traveler who has lived in various countries, but London will always hold a special place in her heart.

And I'm sure you've all met Mellissa Lee, we're following her on her new adventure into mobile platforms. She'll be sharing with us the latest news on why social advertising on mobile platforms is the new frontier for startups and entrepreneurs. Mellissa was a Management Consultant in a past life before getting bitten by the start-up bug as part of Rocket Internet and ZALORA. She then left to start her own company, PerkPool, and is currently now also SVP of KakaoTalk Malaysia.
