If 2016 has taught us anything, it is that we are living in VUCA times. With the upsetting of established political, economical and technological norms of 2016. 2017 would be a year of discomfort promises to herald in a year of unpredictability, uncertainty and unexpected  developments.
When things get tough, people tend to fall back on the habits that help them succeed in the first place. As a nation, we tend towards being more conservative and more cautious.
Will these be enough? Are these the right response to the discomfort zone in #SHRIOutlook2017?
Can Singapore leverage on its established strengths? Do we need to invent new ones and reinvent ourselves? And how can we get people, our precious resources, to embrace the volatility - and to boldly and actively seek the opportunities that are inherently found on the leading edge of volatile developments. We have curated a line up of visionaries to share their unique insights and analysis which will inspire and transform at the end of #SHRIOutlook2017.
Discomfort is being used as a springboard for achieving greatness in different ways of working, inspiring and uplifting the human spirit. Within organisations, we brace ourselves in the formation  of gathering of bleakness to build tough people for tough times.
