When year 2020 knocked on our doors, we had a vision and mission to execute our carefully planned year. Nobody had predicted that a virus will disrupt and hasten the pace of digital transformation which would have otherwise taken its own pace.

As we see rapid increase in tech enablement across every sector in the current crisis, we all need to step back and ponder over the almost sudden, massive leap it has had to take in the current crisis.

The response from governments and enterprises around the world to the threat of COVID-19 has been one of the biggest public service challenges in decades. The use of digital tools has played a key role in protecting citizens, with governments having to turn quickly deploy welfare systems, distribute information, and scale up contact tracing.
