Topic: Singapore Outlook 2H17: Back to our search for yield

Date: 27 July 2017, Tuesday

Time: 12.30pm – 1.30pm

Venue: Phillip Investor Centre, Bukit Batok

Speaker: Mr Paul Chew, Head of Research, Phillip Securities Research Pte Ltd

Synopsis

According to the quarterly survey by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), private-sector economists expect the economy to grow 2.5 per cent this year, up from their previous forecast of 2.3 per cent growth in March. On the other hand, the global economic momentum seems to be slowing down. What is the outlook for the second half of 2017 and where should we invest in?

  • The weak US dollar backdrop pushes us to find investment opportunities in the Emerging Markets.
  • The search for sustainable yield continues.
  • Local top picks: high end property stocks.

Join us to listen to how our Research Team make sense of the global economy and share with us the possible investment opportunities.

Availability for this seminar is on a first-come-first-served basis. While seats last! To register, you may call us via 6812 1533 or email us at bkbatok@phillip.com.sg
