Event Details

Motivated by the success of the inaugural Singapore Space Symposium held in 2014 at NUS and its subsequent follow up symposia, the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering from NUS and EDB are jointly organizing the Fourth Singapore Space Symposium (SSS 2017).

This 1-day symposium will be an exciting forum with a focus on local space industry and space R&D community. The objectives of the symposium are:

  • Promote research and development activities on the spacecraft bus, payload and satellite applications.
  • Increase awareness on space industry's direction.
  • Foster collaboration on satellite technologies between public institutions & industries.

The symposium will feature presentations by industries from space companies such as ST Electronics, THALES Alenia Space, Airbus Defence & Space, Gilmour Space Technologies, Infinite Orbits as well as researchers from NUS, NTU and A*STAR.

This symposium is sponsored by ST Electronics (Satcom & Sensor Systems) Pte. Ltd. and THALES Group.

We look forward to seeing you at the Singapore Space Symposium 2017.
