Event description

Description

Sentosa, along with the other Southern Islands lie along the Singapore Straits, a channel that has played a significant role in Singapore’s history and its economic status. Learn about the islands that lie along this important trading route, of the villages they once were, and how they have transformed over the years into their vastly different roles today. The islands may have their own story to tell, but together, they build a special Singapore story.

The guided tour begins at the Fort Siloso Skywalk, with its panoramic view of the Singapore Straits and the Southern Islands. We will then board a ferry to St. John’s Island, where our guides will take you back in time with stories and old photographs of the old Pulau Sekijang Bendera and Pulau Sekijang Pelepah. A stopover at Kusu Island will also give you the opportunity to explore its cultural heritage.

Things to note:
1) The tour will be conducted in English only.
2) The tour is approximately 4.5 hours long.
3) The tour is recommended for guests aged 7 years and above, but there is no restriction on age.
4) This walking tour includes routes that are not wheelchair or stroller friendly. It also includes a bus ride and ferry rides.
5) The tour may be cancelled or shortened due to unfavourable weather (e.g. thunderstorms).
