Soma is a greek word, which means your body. Somatic Yoga is a practice that incorporates meditation, pranayama (breath techniques) and asana (practice of poses) from traditional Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and Dr. Thomas Hanna's Somatic Movement exercises to help you to:

  1. Regain freedom in your body and mind
  2. Cultivate comfort, trust and security within you
  3. Feel more calm, think more clearly.

Each week the sessions will have different themes. For the week of 15th Feb it will be focused on the theme: Peeling your Onion 🧅😊Within the Panchamaya Kosha model, it is believed there are 5 layers, sheaths or 'kosha's to each human being. Within this session you will be guided to peel through each layer to arrive at your core: Your anandamaya Kosha, bliss body, to connect with the contentment, joy and peace within you.
