Event description

About the Retreat

This year-end Retreat will help us spiritually take stock for the year past, settle our minds and realign our goals for the New Year. Designed to help participants make merit even as we make merry during the festive season, the Retreat will be held at Thekchen Choling (Malaysia) which houses the Mandala Palace of the 48 feet-tall Tibetan style statue of Thousand-Armed Chenrezig or Guan Yin. Possibly the largest representation of the Buddha of Compassion in Southeast Asia, devotees can offer prayers before Guan Yin to create the causes to overcome difficulties and fulfil their wishes.

We invite all Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike to personally experience the Stop.Breathe.Live. retreat. The Retreat is open to those aged 12 years old and above who have taken refuge or are willing to take refuge in the Triple Gem during the Retreat.

Namdrol Rinpoche will bestow Refuge, Guan Yin Initiation, teachings and prayers (including transmission of the sacred Guan Yin mantras), Manjushri Blessings to students and also conduct the Dorje Khandro Fire Puja. The programme will set us on the Path of Enlightenment and help us cultivate Compassion and Insight.

Sign up now for a life-changing experience and come prepared to receive the nectar of Dharma!
