About the Programme/Event:

Join us for an exciting Chinese storytelling session this school holiday. Teachers from My First Skool (51 Fernvale Link) will be sharing three well-known and beloved Chinese stories. There will also be a craft and Q&A at the end!

This is a parent-child programme, suitable for children aged 3 years old and above. This session will be conducted in Mandarin.

一、好饿的毛毛虫, The Very Hungry Caterpillar：

英文简介：Through the use of a teacher-made storytelling aid, children will follow the very hungry caterpillar on a journey to hunt for all kinds of food before turning into a butterfly.

华文简介：老师透过自制教具，描述一只很饿的毛虫，在变成蛹之前吃了各式各样的食物，后来变成蝴蝶的故事。

二、好想吃榴莲 I Really Want to Eat a Durian：

英文简介：The little mouse suddenly wanted to eat durian, but he never knew what durian tasted like. The little mouse asked his friend if he knew what durian tasted like. Unexpectedly, the animal friends told him different answers, so the little mouse went to the market to buy the durian and try it. Through the use of a teacher-made storytelling aid, children will join the little mouse in his adventures to find out how durian taste like.

华文简介：小老鼠突然好想好想吃榴梿，但他从不知道榴梿是什么味道。小老鼠问他的朋友是否知道榴梿是什么味道，没想到动物朋友告诉他的答案都不一样，于是小老鼠亲自到市场把榴梿买回来试一试。

三、三只小猪 Three Little Pigs：

英文简介： Through the use of a teacher-made storytelling aid, children will build a grass house, a wooden house and a brick house to see which is the best material to help them stay away from the big bad wolf.

华文简介：使用三只小猪的教具，一边演示一边讲故事。老师引导幼儿们了解草房子，木头房子和砖头房子，会因为材料的重量影响房子的坚固性。
