Success in the real-world is not determined by our academic excellence but by our ability to interact with others. We can develop emotional intelligence through the magical world of storytelling. This workshop will guide participants to choose and craft stories to help children understand different types of emotions.

Participants will also design suitable activities that will build empathy and compassion towards people around them. This workshop is suitable for storytellers, writers, educators and parents working with children of ages 4-9 years old.

Trainers:
Karen Lee is a storyteller and trainer with 20 years of teaching experience in the education field. She has been telling stories to people of all ages and from all walks of life. She enjoys bringing to her audience the joy that can be gained from storytelling.

Wong Swee Yean is an experienced storyteller and trainer, has been telling stories in schools, libraries and museums for the past 12 years. She likes to nurture the yearning for learning that she sees in all her students.
