Important Notice

This programme/event is open to members of the National Library Board, Singapore. Please ensure you have your myLibrary ID on hand before proceeding with the registration. If you do not have a myLibrary ID, you can create one here: https://account.nlb.gov.sg/.

About the Programme

A report is a structured written document but this does not imply that there is a common structure to every report. A good report is easy to read, but that does not mean it is easy to write one!

The context and audience for your reports can be diverse. Accordingly, it is necessary to adapt your report writing structure and content, keeping these in mind.

In this two-part workshop on report writing skills, participants will be equipped with a structured process to write a report.

  • Part 1 of the workshop introduces the report writing process, and provides tips on developing a logical and concise report structure, based on the report objectives and target audience.
  • Part 2 of the workshop equips participants with best practice tools for report writing and editing, leading to content that is clear and accurate.

In this Part 2 workshop, the trainer will recap the content from Part 1, for participants who have missed the earlier session.
