Tour synopsis:
Life in the mangroves is influenced by the rhythm of the tides. This tour introduces you to the mangrove ecosystem and provides insights into the various adaptations plants and animals have developed to eke out a living in this rather harsh environment. You will have an opportunity to observe typical denizens of the mangroves, such as tree-climbing crabs, mudskippers or monitor lizards close up. With a bit of luck, you may also spot one of the resident crocodiles there!
Recommended minimum age: 6 years
Please note:
- Walk will be conducted in compliance with the Safe Management Measures published by the Singapore Tourism Board:
- Maximum 8 participants per sub-group
- Participants need to wear masks at all times
- Maintain at least 1m spacing
- Taking temperature of all participants before the start of the walk
- All participants to submit their contact details for contact tracing purposes
This event is an outdoor activity subject to the whims of the elements. It may have to be shortened, delayed or aborted for safety reasons in case of inclement weather. No refund will be given in this case.
