Tan Tock Seng Hospital Speech Therapy department presents Telerehabilitation, Telepractice and Simulated learning, a series of seminars and workshops by Professor Deborah Theodoros. This weeklong program caters not just to speech pathologists but other healthcare professionals and providers, tackling aspects of clinical practice that would become ever more relevant with technological advancement.

Professor Deborah Theodoros is the founder and co-director of the Center for Research in Telerehabilitation (CRT) at the University of Queensland, where she was the Head of Speech Pathology for around a decade. As an executive member of the Telerehabilitation Special Interest Group for the American Telemedicine Association, Professor Theodoros is an eminent figure in the development of telepractice in speech pathology, and has collaborated with other allied health professionals to better incorporate modern technology in clinical practice across disciplines. Prolific in research and an avid educator, Professor Theodoros has made over 130 publications with notable interest in telerehabilitation, speech and voice treatments, intensive therapy and clinical education. She continues to break new grounds by serving as principal advisor for various ongoing studies related to Parkinson’s Disease and communication therapy.
