Event Details

Most people would agree that technology has the potential to bring about tremendous improvements to healthcare delivery. However, to date, digital innovation has brought as much change as it did hype and unrealistic expectations. Artificial Intelligence is but an enabler – among many enablers – that can lead to more precise therapies and more efficient care.

In this insightful talk by Dr Homer Pien, Chief Scientific Officer of Philips, discover how technology is altering the landscape of diagnosis, and in particular, imaging. With financial pressures brought about by the ageing population, technology can make healthcare delivery more efficient. As the demand for healthcare increases, there will be an increasing shortage of qualified healthcare workers – technology can enable greater simplicity in healthcare. Lastly, find out how analytics for disease risk stratification can help society focus greater resources on those who need it most.
