Event description
"The Impermanence of Lilies" is an epic story of love across time and space, launching at the Singapore Writers Festival.

About this Event

The captain of the Titanic went down with his ship on 15 April, 1912. But thoughts have power, and those who endure in the stories of the living are said to continue to roam the world after their deaths. Join the author Daniel Yeo in conversation with novelist Clarissa Goenawan on his debut novel The Impermanence of Lilies, a melancholic tribute to the nature of life and a yearning for love, in a story that spans lifetimes, places, and the space between two hearts.

Launching as part of the Singapore Writers Festival.

About the author

Daniel Yeo has always been obsessed about the deeper meaning of things, and finding the threads that run through them. He expresses those discoveries through words. In the daytime, he writes for a living. In the nighttime, he writes to live. He writes fiction so there may be some truth to his words. He studied Mass Communications at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

The Impermanence of Lilies is his first novel.
