Three Short Films:


Rice Wine Chicken (红㯾鸡) (Mandarin with English Subtitles) PG

Directed by Priscilla Ang Geck Geck, this short film is commissioned by Mediacorp. The theme of the film is "Home". It explores the relationship between Priscilla and her grandma after she had a fall.

About the director:

Priscilla Ang Geck Geck is a graduate of School of Art Design Media (ADM), Nanyang Technological University of Singapore (NTU). She has directed short films, commercial works, and corporate videos.

Her debut short film, Broken Crayon received a few accolades and won the Best Short Film award at the Singapore Short Film Festival 2013. She is also an Alumni of Busan Asian Film Academy (AFA) as a role of a director.

The Old Voice (Tamil with English Subtitles) PG

This short film is about an old man whose memories of his Tamil radio days still lingers.

Directed by Saleem Hadi, the short film has won the 2nd Prize in Singapore Heritage Short Film Festival 2016, organised by Singapore Film Society and National Heritage Board

About the director

Having graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) from RMIT, Australia, Saleem Hadi is also the first Singaporean to have won the CANNES 2008 Distinguished Community Documentary Award for his short film along with his 3 other friends.

Having produced & directed 13 short films up to date, Saleem is currently working on his mini-dream project, R.O.J.A.K ambitiously with his small group of friends.

When You are Old (当你老了) (Mandarin with English Subtitles) PG

Inspired by the true story of Singapore artist Danny Raven Tan, this heart-warming short film presents a glimpse of a son’s life living with a 86 year old mother who suffers from senile dementia. This short film won Singtel’s 5-Min Video Challenge Singapore 2016.

The 10-minute version of the short film written and directed by ChongWu will be premiered at the Enabling Festival 2018

About the director

Koh Chong Wu started his training and practice as a filmmaker after entering Nanyang Technological University, School of Art Design and Media in 2009. Chong Wu enjoys the sense of satisfaction when he witnessed the completion of his film and it being screened. He is contented to contribute to the film industry of Singapore, bringing it to greater heights
