About this Event

CHANGE MAKER CIRCLES by TIN 2019 (Talks, Ideas and Networking)

WHY - The world has many important problems. CHANGE MAKER CIRCLES are for passionate people who believe we can work together to fix them.

HOW - We can only fix the world’s difficult problems if we collaborate and make new connections with other people.

WHAT - 1. A special guest - an expert in their field guiding a discussion about what we can do to HELP SOLVE WORLD PROBLEMS.

2. PROBLEM SOLVING CIRCLES – How can we in our own field work to solve big global problems. (Maximum 25 people)

Come and meet other INSPIRING people in a small group and be inspired to CHANGE THE WORLD.

Ika Nurain Koeck

HOW DO WE HELP THE WORLD'S VULNERABLE PEOPLE?

Ika is a Red Cross Aid worker who has been involved in many of the world's most pressing humanitarian emergencies. She has worked all over Asia protecting the most vulnerable and helping communities get back on their feet.

She will be talking about how to become an aid worker and how everyone can support international humanitarian action.

20:30 – 20:40 Introduction by Ika (What do aid workers do?)

20:40 – 21:10 Change maker circles (small groups – problem solving discussion)

21:10 – 21:25 Feedback (What can we do in our own organisations?)

21:25 – 22:00 Networking and having a drink
