Tiong Bahru Heritage Trail
Tiong Bahru was declared a conservation area by URA on 1 December 2003. 56 buildings were conserved to give identity, sense of place and rootedness to Singaporeans.
Learn about the history and architecture of Singapore's first public housing estate built by the Singapore Improvement Trust in the 1930s.
This is a monthly tour conducted by URA's volunteer student guides from ITE College West Tourism Club.
Meet at the seats in front of the main entrance of Tiong Bahru Market at the junction of Seng Poh Road and Lim Liak Street at 9:45am.
Registration will open on 13 May 2017 at 10:00am.
