About the Programme/Event
The year end typically marks the travel season, but with the current pandemic and international travel restrictions in place, experts predict that international tourism will only gradually recover by the second half of 2021.
While a new way of travel is set to stay due to heightened safety and health measures, there is an immense opportunity to promote responsible practices for resilient tourism in the future.
How can our holiday choices help us do more than rest and recuperate? Can we use our tourism dollar to benefit nature? Can nature-based tourism be a part of our move to build back better?
Join us for an hour as we discuss the opportunities for a more resilient tourism industry post COVID times.
