About the speakers

Marcus Weyerer, Director of ETF Investment Strategy, EMEA

Marcus Weyerer joined Franklin Templeton in November 2018. In his role as Director of ETF Investment Strategy, EMEA, he is responsible for the macro and tactical positioning of our ETFs with investors. Previously, Marcus Weyerer was an ETF Sales Specialist at WisdomTree for the German-speaking regions. Until 2016, he worked at Intesa Sanpaolo in London as a money market trader and in the bank's treasury service for international corporate clients. Prior to that, he worked in various positions at Commerzbank AG and the Erste Rosenheimer Privatbank. Marcus Weyerer studied at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and holds a Master of Science in Finance & Capital Markets. Marcus is also a CFA® charterholder.

Rashmi Kwatra, Founder and CIO at Sixteenth Street Capital

Rashmi is the founder and CIO of Sixteenth Street Capital. While focused on public markets, Rashmi values investment opportunities as would a long-term private buyer. Prior to starting her own fund, she was the youngest Partner at Prince Street Capital Management, a long-standing Emerging and Frontier market fund. Rashmi was responsible for their investments in South and Southeast Asia. Rashmi holds a dual concentration in Finance and Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude. She is a Thai National, is now a Singapore Permanent Resident, and is of South Asian descent. Rashmi is fluent in English, Thai, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Justin Jimenez, Head of Macro & Investment Research

Justin is the Head of Macro and Investment Research at StashAway. In this role, he shapes the investment office's perspectives on the global economy and asset classes, provides clients with insights into various macro trends and themes, and leads fund selection efforts.

Before joining StashAway, Justin was an economist at Bloomberg, where he offered clients analysis on macroeconomic data, policy, and trends in the Asia Pacific region and the broader global economy. He has over a decade of experience in economic and investment research. Justin holds a Master's in International Finance and Economic Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development from UCLA.
