Synopsis

Part 1: Introduction to Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)

Did you know that there has been a worldwide adoption of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) in recent years? Currently, there are over 5,700 ETFs available on stock exchanges around the world with around US$5 trillion in global ETF assets. With many popular ETFs tracking major indexes, sectors and asset classes, are you missing out by not including ETFs in your investment portfolio?

Join us and learn more on how ETFs work and how to invest in US Sectors via ETFs.

Part 2: Presentation on the US Market

There has been media attention on the possibility of a recession, with the global economy not looking so rosy at the moment. We saw a deep dive in the stock market in December 2018. As headwinds spanning trade wars to slowing growth weigh down the US economy, talks of a recession have only seemed to pick up. Our seminar aims to provide a macro view of the US economy and 3 sectors that are likely to sustain growth momentum in 2019.

Availability for this seminar is on a first-come-first-served basis. For enquiries, please feel free to call 6812 1500 or email us at raffles@phillip.com.sg.
