Teachers endeavour to create engaging lessons so as to facilitate learning. An ICT-enhanced lesson with appropriate pedagogical approach that allows for immediate feedback can help to achieve that endeavour. Teachers can plan their formative assessment strategies using ICT tools like Google Forms and Kahoot to keep track of how learning among students is developing. Students generally enjoy using ICT tools through their mobile devices and this evokes more involvement especially through peer-to-peer collaboration in the class. In the event that the immediate feedback reveals a misconception or a difficulty in learning, necessary adjustments can be made during lessons. Using these ICT tools for the purpose of formative assessment, students will no longer hide their learning difficulty and teachers have opportunities to elicit responses immediately.
