🌏 WHY

Climate change, ecological upheaval, economic disparity, fake news - we were already questioning the way we work, play, live, love. Then 2020 came along adding to the cocktail a global pandemic, increasing political, gender and racial polarisation, and left us feeling even more dazed and anxious. If you have felt the twinge of eco-anxiety, the twang of disempowerment — we're right there with you.

We also sometimes feel powerless and small, like nothing will ever change. But it is when faced with crisis that living beings are the most resourceful, creative and collaborative. It's time to unlearn and relearn. Unlearn what has shaped our decisions and behaviors so far to relearn new ways of thinking, of doing, of sharing.

It doesn’t matter where you land between collapsologist, business as usual, green growther or activist - we hope to find a common track worth exploring. A connected world based on regenerative systems, circular economies, low techs, collaboration, solidarity and equality. Because our wellness goes hand in hand with thriving communities and a healthy planet.

🎤 TALKS

> FRIDAY

COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE

Our first day at the Conscious Festival will be dedicated to “collective intelligence” and how we could best use our diversity and unique individual skills to serve the collective.

+ Time For The Planet will host a special evening on the topic "What would you do with 1 billion € ? " and share secrets on how to build effective and active community of supporters!

> SATURDAY

WELLNESS

One of the big words of 2020 was probably unlearning. What does it mean practically? How can we be active, long-term allies in the environmental and social justice space, while doing the inner work too? How is everything interconnected? How to overcome the uncomfortable feelings that arise when we face our own conditionings?

SUSTAINABILITY

Capitalism, along with the surrounding structures that support it (the patriarchy, colonialism), are no longer viable systems. Knowing this is one thing, but acting on it is another. What other world can we imagine, how can we build it? How do regenerative systems play a part?

> SUNDAY

PLANET

Climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, plastic in the ocean - is the hope for our planet’s future? Lets bring it back, there is a lot to be excited about! Starting with the geopolitical agenda: China’s committed to net zero by 2060, the UK by 2050, Biden has rejoined the Paris agreement, social justice movements are joining forces with environmental fights and the youth is rising in droves.

FASHION & BEAUTY

Impact is made from the choice of fabric all the way to consumer care - how can we navigate through this? What are the trends in ethical fashion (leasing, recycled fibres, limiting micro pollution, and more)? What does "made in" really mean? Let’s look at innovative businesses models, circular systems and hear from designers and social entrepreneurs who are already making the change.
