The Federal Government has recognised that new approaches are needed to take advantage of new and emerging technologies and has called on agencies, departments and partners to be more effective in using innovation and bringing innovative solutions into service.

Accordingly, the State’s first whole of government ICT Strategy, Digital WA is to transform the way public services are designed, supported and delivered for a community living and working in a digital world.

GovNext-ICT Program

The transition process in WA Government agencies will be taking place across the following areas below and a few others to a government-wide service model that allows each agency to select the most appropriate ICT service for their environment.

Everyone is gearing up to implement the all-new, ICTservice consumption model enabling government departments and agencies in Perth and statewide to benefit.

The digital landscape is constantly evolving from mobile apps to smart technology, on-the-go citizens demand engaging, efficient and secure access with more turnkey solutions.

In order to provide our citizens and government agencies with a secure, streamlined, and personalized digital experience, the Western Australia OpenGov Leadership Forum 2017 will focus on the tools and techniques that will build on your agency’s mission for an effective digital government strategy.

Here, you will meet C-level government experts and industry professionals addressing the most important policy, management and leadership issues surrounding the future of digital government and the role of the public-sector CIO.

Based on our conversations with senior officials from Western Australia public sector, Western Australia OpenGov Forum Leadership is streamed along four tracks representing the different business challenges.

You will gain access to innovative case studies and interactive discussions on topics like :

Taking place on 7 December 2017, the Western Australia OpenGov Leadership Forum will serve as a full day of valuable insights and networking opportunities playing an integral role in keeping the digital professionals connected, educated, engaged and inspired.

** OpenGov reserves the final right to accept or reject any registrations **

** There will be no refund of tickets 6 weeks before the event **

** Conditions for Complimentary Pass Registration: This pass is offered at no cost to the delegate. The organiser reserves the right to reject a registration by non-qualifying applicant. A “non-attendance” fee of USD250 applies to any delegate who should fail to attend to the event for the entire duration. The fee covers the costs incurred for the conference(delegate materials, food and beverages etc), as well as the opportunity cost of allocating the complimentary pass to someone else. Substitutions of equal job functionality are acceptable subject to prior approval by the organiser at least 14 working days in advance. **
