Description

Dear attendee,

On behalf of Capgemini Singapore, it is our pleasure to extend our warmest invitation to Capgemini's second edition of "What's Now Singapore" at our Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) on Thursday, 31 August 2017.

The AIE is Capgemini’s global platform that leverages a framework for action, a network of exchange locations, and a high performance engagement experience together with a broad community of designers, technologists, sector experts, business, technology partners, research organizations and startups. The idea is to enable organizations to proactively plan for and respond to the various technology and business shifts which are confronting them on a daily basis.

"What's Now Singapore" happening at the AIE is a quarterly conversation stimulated by local thought leaders, centered on the current and upcoming key technology trends as well as the most important innovations emerging in Singapore right now. Each session will feature a group of subject matter experts in one of the many areas exploding with innovation – the experts who can explain the big story, what’s most important now, and what’s coming next. Over the course of a year, we will explore a range of sectors – from AI to biotech to clean energy to food – that make Singapore ground zero for breakthroughs that soon will impact the rest of the world.

The second session of “What’s Now Singapore” will focus on Blockchain.

Blockchain

Blockchain technology is set to revolutionize the flow of transactions and the daily lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Industries like financial services, cybersecurity, education, healthcare, supply chain, and governments have begun to explore the application of Blockchain for a variety of uses. However, most uses remain experimental.

At Capgemini, we have already begun designing Blockchain solutions for banking and financial services. Thanks to Blockchain technology, by 2022, the banking sector is projected to save between 15 to 20 billion dollars.

“Banks and Insurance companies can no longer afford to ignore the Blockchain. This technology will completely transform the industry’s business model.”
- Nilesh Vaidya, Vice-President of Capgemini Financial Services

With the advantages of greater transparency and robust security, hear from four Blockchain technology experts to understand what the buzz is about Blockchain and how it can add value to your company’s digital transformation.

Join us at “What’s Now Singapore” on 31 August to find out more.
