The Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE ) Guidelines were introduced by WHO to help community health and care workers on how best to assess older people's functional capacities and recommend what works to prevent, slow or reverse declines in the physical and mental capacities of older people. This is aligned to Singapore's Healthier SG initiative and essential for an ageing society like Singapore.

This workshop is organised by SUSS Gerontology Department with trainers from WHO Collaborating Centre for Community Health Services, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong to train and certify Singapore-based health ambassadors to be competent in ICOPE Framework.

WHO ICOPE Certificates will only be issued to participants who attend and complete the 3-full day training workshop and commit to conduct and complete at least 10 ICOPE assessment questionnaires after the workshop.

Training workshop eligibility:

1. Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

2. 21 years and above

3. Background in medical and healthcare will be an advantage.

4. Priority will be given to applicants who can attend the 3-full day training workshop, commit to complete at least 10 ICOPE assessment questionnaires and able to actively participate and contribute in the Care Pathway implementation post workshop.
