Overview

Being recognized in your field can make you more valuable in your current job and more marketable if you decide to change jobs. Social media is becoming an important channel for professionals to build up their “brand” or executive presence. But this needs careful profiling, positioning and outreaching with a consistent and integrated messaging, like any other marketing best practices. In this workshop, audiences will learn how to establish the social media content posting and engagement strategy using five-step methodology: 1. Define; 2. Listen; 3. Organize; 4. Engage; and 5. Measure. Through facilitated discussions, guidance will be provided on ways of social media optimization and analytics to maneuver the traffic in the right professional way with integrity.

Learning Outcome

This is a three-hour session workshop with facilitated discussion on how to define executive presence and social media engagement. Audiences are encouraged to engage in the discussion with thought-provocative ideas and hand-on practices.

About The Speaker

Woei Fuh is the General Manager of Consulting for IES (Innovative Education Services), a regional academic consulting firm based in Singapore. Prior to that, he worked in Thomson Reuters for 10 years involving in the business of Intellectual Properties & Science for Asia Pacific region. His consultancy work focuses in three areas: Research Excellence, Innovation Outreach and Competency of Future Professionals. He holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science & Technology from the University of Manchester, UK, and MBA from Louisville University, Kentucky, USA.
