The workshop will also briefly introduce the ways to read a photograph, and how one can elicit information about the photographed subject to construct a basic storyline.

About the Series

Zine Design is a series of workshops that highlights DIY culture and zines as a form of creative expression. Join us for a workshop or two and your zines might just be showcased!

About the Artist

Weng Pixin (or, Pix) grew up in Singapore. As a child, Pixin’s father used to tell her stories that reflected his curious nature. When Pix began making art, she wanted to express that same curious nature in her semi-autobiographical comics. Her first book, Sweet Time, was published by Drawn & Quarterly in 2020.
