How to change your recurring event to a single event
To change a recurring event to a single event, delete all dates, time slots, and ticket types. Your event must be in a draft with no completed orders. If your event has completed orders, you can create a new event and manually add your attendees to it, or have attendees register again.

If your event has registered attendees
If attendees have already registered for your event, you won’t be able to switch your existing event to a single event. Refunding all orders will not allow you to change your event from recurring to single. Instead, hide your original event and create a new event. Then, you can manually add existing attendees to the new event, or process refunds and have them re-register.
1. Choose to add attendees manually or process refunds.
After creating your new event listing, you can either:
Add attendees manually - Add existing attendees to your new event manually and they’ll receive a new order confirmation. Export an Attendees report to see the contact information and order details of your existing attendees. Eventbrite will send a payout for the original event and a separate payout for any ticket sales on your new event.
Process refunds - Refund all orders in your existing event, and ask attendees to register for your new event. Be sure to email your attendees before you refund their orders. Emails can't be sent to an attendee after their order is refunded.
2. Email your attendees to let them know what’s happening.
Send an email to let your existing attendees know they’ll be receiving a new confirmation, or will need to register for the new event.
3. Hide your original event.
Hide your original event by updating your privacy settings and setting a password. This will prevent any new registrations. If your event was already private, change the password attendees use to access it.
4. Create and publish your new event.
When you create your new event, choose “Single event” under “Date & time”. Once you publish the event, share the link with any attendees who need to place a new registration.
5. Optional: Manually add attendees from your original event.
If you didn’t refund your existing attendees, manually add them to your new event. This will allow you to easily check-in all attendees and ensure they receive any updates about your event.
