Aureus Academy and Chamber Circle

Chamber Circle was founded by Dr. Kelvin Chan (piano) and Dr. Ronald Ling (violin) in early 2015 to provide a platform for chamber musicians and vocalists to hone their craft, perform regularly and enhance appreciation of chamber music in Singapore.

The duo met on the Association for Chamber Music Professionals and realized that there were few platforms in Singapore for both professional and serious amateur chamber musicians. Thus, the Chamber Circle was born and we organized two soirées in 2015, followed by five soirées in 2016 and beyond.

The growth from the small group of friends to more than 40 musicians in 2016 encouraged Kelvin and Ronald to register CC as a non-profit society.  This will allow CC to expand its programs and efforts in cultivating a vibrant chamber music scene locally.

The Chamber Circle is registered as a non-profit society in Singapore (T17SS0001J)
