Here's how you do it:
To create tickets for your event, go to “Tickets” and select “Create ticket”. Choose a ticket type (paid, free, or donation). Then add a name, quantity, and price (if paid). Review the advanced settings to add a description or change how your tickets are sold. Make sure to save your changes and view your event to confirm your ticket settings are correct. <h2 id="1">1. Go to your Event Dashboard.</h2> <p>Go to <b>Manage my events</b> in your account. Then select your event.</p> <h2 id="2">2. Go to “Tickets” and click “Add ticket”.</h2> <p>If your event doesn’t have any tickets created yet, the "add ticket" window will appear automatically.</p> <h2 id="3">3. Choose your ticket type.</h2> <p>There are three types of tickets:</p> <ul><li><b>Paid</b> — The ticket costs a set amount.</li><li><b>Free</b> — The ticket doesn’t cost anything.</li><li><b>Donation</b> — A paid ticket where the buyer determines the price.</li></ul> <h2 id="4">4. Enter basic information for your ticket.</h2> <ul><li><b>Name</b> — Name of the ticket type (like "General Admission" or "Early bird").</li><li><b>Available quantity</b> — The number of tickets available for this ticket type. For example, if you want to sell 200 tickets, set this to 200.</li><li><b>Price</b> (paid tickets only) — The set price of your tickets. Click <b>View details</b> to see your fees.</li><li><b>Absorb fees</b> (optional) — By default, Eventbrite’s fees are paid by the attendee. Select <b>Absorb fees</b> to pay for the fees from your ticket sales instead.</li><li><b>Sales dates</b> — The dates and times your tickets are on sale. Before your sales start date and after your sales end date, the tickets won’t be available.</li></ul> <p class="text-small l-pad-vert-2 l-pad-hor-2 card l-mar-top-2">NOTE: If your event is set up as a recurring event, you can’t set a start date for your ticket sales.</p> <h2 id="5">5. Optional: Choose your advanced settings.</h2> <p>Select <b>Advanced settings</b> to customise your ticket.</p> <ul><li><b>Ticket description</b> — More information about your tickets. Use a description if you need to include more information about this ticket type.</li><li><b>Ticket visibility</b> — Whether your attendees can see this ticket type. You can reveal hidden tickets with a promotional code. <a href="https://www.eventbrite.sg/support/articleredirect?anum=3295" target="_blank">Learn how to create a promotional code.</a></li><li><b>Tickets per order</b> — The minimum and maximum amount of this ticket type purchasers can buy at once. Use this to create group offers or limit the amount of tickets per order. <a href="https://www.eventbrite.sg/support/articleredirect?anum=41711" target="_blank">Learn how to create group ticket types.</a></li><li><b>Sales channel</b> — Where attendees can buy this ticket type. If you change it to <b>At the door only</b>, these tickets are only available when you sell them with the organiser app.</li></ul> <h2 id="6">6. Confirm your tickets are on sale.</h2> <p>Save your changes. Then view your event to confirm your ticket settings are correct. If your event is still a draft, select <b>Preview</b> to see what your event will look like.</p> <p>If your tickets aren’t on sale, go back to <b>Tickets</b> and click your ticket type. Then check the following:</p> <ol><li>Check the sales dates for your tickets.</li><li>Confirm your tickets are visible (under <b>Advanced settings</b>).</li><li>Set the <b>Sales channel</b> to <b>Everywhere</b> or <b>Online only</b> (under <b>Advanced settings</b>).</li></ol> <h2 id="7">7. Optional: Edit your tickets.</h2> <p>To update your tickets, go back to <b>Tickets</b>.
