The Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum is the only natural history museum in Singapore, and is dedicated to research, education and outreach. With a part of its collection hailing from the original Raffles Museum, it is home to over a million specimens from the region. Its public galleries have over 2,000 real specimens on display.

The Edutainment Zoom programme is for children and families, comprising light-hearted talks, story-telling and live demos!

The Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM) is pleased to present the 'Edutainment Zoom' season 2 programmes facilitated by our partners! Tune in to our educational and entertaining web sessions via Zoom from Tuesday 8 Sep to Saturday 12 Sep at 4–5 pm , covering topics from composting with worms, muddy mudflats, microorganisms, storytelling on eye care and dragonfly drawing.Join Dawn Sng from Cultivate Central as she challenges us to look at how earthworms play a huge part in rebuilding soil by turning food and paper waste to compost with the help of earthworms.
She will share more about these curious creatures with games, art activities and lessons on composting in this action-oriented Zoom session. Come be a part of the community that rebuilds soil.
There will be a short quiz and prizes to be won!
