Question 1

How do I get there by public transport?

Accepted Answer

Nearest station: Bayfront MRT (Circle and Downtown lines). Take Exit B and walk towards the waterfront. Marina Bay, Downtown and Raffles Place stations are also walkable. Buses 97, 106, 133, 502 and 518 stop along Bayfront Avenue, a short walk from the entrance.

Question 2

Where is the nearest parking?

Accepted Answer

Closest sheltered parking: Marina Bay Sands (North and South car parks). There is also an open-air public car park next to the event space near the Red Dot Design Museum, plus Marina Bay Financial Centre and One Marina Boulevard. Charges apply. On busy evenings, we recommend the MRT.

Question 3

What is the exact address?

Accepted Answer

Bayfront Event Space, 12A Bayfront Avenue, Singapore, on the waterfront promenade next to Marina Bay Sands. For taxis and ride-hailing apps, set your drop-off to Bayfront Event Space.

Question 4

Will roads be closed during the race weekend?

Accepted Answer

From 9 to 11 October, expect major road closures and heavy traffic around Marina Bay for the night race. The festival runs as usual on those dates, and, while there is no road closure where our event space is located, taking the MRT to Bayfront station is strongly recommended.

Question 5

Is the food halal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. GrandBite is a halal food festival, and all food and beverage vendors are halal-certified, muslim-owned or have met all halal requirements for our event.

Question 6

Is the festival suitable for children?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. GrandBite is a family festival with live music and activities for all ages, and everyone is welcome.

Question 7

Do I need a race ticket to attend GrandBite?

Accepted Answer

No. GrandBite is a standalone festival with its own tickets at Bayfront Event Space. Everyone is welcome, with or without a race ticket.

Question 8

Do children need a ticket?

Accepted Answer

Children under 7 enter free: book the Lil One Community Pass at checkout. Kids aged 7 to 16 use a child ticket, and anyone aged 17-59 needs an adult ticket.

Question 9

What does the Family ticket include?

Accepted Answer

One Family ticket admits two adults and two children on your chosen day. It's the best-value way in for families.

Question 10

Who qualifies for a free Community Pass?

Accepted Answer

Children under 7, seniors aged 60 and above, and CHAS Blue cardholders. Book your pass online like any ticket and bring your card or NRIC for a quick check at the gate.

Question 11

How does the 3-day pass work?

Accepted Answer

One pass covers all three days, 9 to 11 October. Exchange it daily for your wristband at first entry, then walk straight in for the rest of the day.

Question 12

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if the day hasn't sold out. Daily capacity is fixed and race weekend will be busy, so booking online guarantees your day and gets you through the gate faster.

Question 13

Can I leave and come back?

Accepted Answer

Yes, same-day re-entry with your wristband.

Question 14

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

GrandBite is an open-air waterfront festival and runs rain or shine, with sheltered dining and covered areas across the grounds.

Question 15

Is the festival stroller and wheelchair friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The grounds are flat and open, easy with a stroller or wheelchair, and Bayfront MRT has barrier-free access to street level.

Question 16

Can I bring outside food, drinks or pets?

Accepted Answer

No outside food and drinks, please, and no pets apart from assistance dogs.
