立化教师家长联谊会(PTA)因此邀请了资深辅导员兼培训师王劲女士为主讲，让作为家长的我们能多了解孩子的心声，给孩子加油打气，协助他们做好准备，应付新挑战。一个良好的开端将有助于您的孩子过着有意义的中学生活，逐渐成长为一个自律自立的青少年。

与此同时PTA执委，王艳与国林，也会在王劲女士的讲座后与大家分享一些立化家长应该熟悉的资源。让您可以更轻松的了解学校，使您和孩子的沟通可以更加有效和愉悦。

王劲女士 - 资深辅导员/培训师

• 拥有心理学学士学位，及劳动力发展局认可的培训高级证书。
• 在辅导专业领域接受萨维雅系统辅导模式培训。
• 拥有超过16年的辅导，家庭生活教育和培训经验。

王劲女士曾应多个学校、社会团体、国家图书馆和社会发展青年及体育部等机构的邀请，主讲过各种类型的讲座及工作坊，内容包括亲子沟通、青少年问题、情绪管理、压力处理、自我成长、婚姻关系、悲伤处理等；并曾多次接受电视、电台及报章的访问，讨论有关辅导方面的课题。王劲女士的“青少年工作坊”也非常受欢迎。

Chinese Transition Talk for Year 1 Parents :

Working Hand in Hand in Support of Our Teens

Dear Parents,

Your children are about to begin another important phase of their lives.  As they enter their teens and begin secondary school in a new environment, they are likely to be overwhelmed initially by various new challenges, both academic and social.

The River Valley High Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is pleased to invite Mdm. Wang Jing, an experienced counsellor and educator, to talk to us about the growing teenager and help us understand the stress our own teens are likely to experience during this transitional phase.  In the process, we as parents will also learn to provide our children with the necessary moral and emotional support, enabling them to harness their potential to the fullest.

In addition, our PTA EXCO (Executive Committee), Wang Yan & Guolin, will be sharing some information that RV parents should know so that you and your teens can have a pleasant start of your RVIP journey.

Speaker’s Profile:

Mdm. Wang Jing is an experienced counsellor and educator.  She holds:

• a Bachelor of Psychology Degree and an advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment accredited by WDA,
• has received training in Satir Systemic Professional Counselling and Art Therapy,
• and is an Accredited T-JTA Administrator.

Moreover, Mdm. Wang has more than 16 years of experience in counselling, training and family life education.  She has also held various appointments at family service and counselling centres.  She has conducted numerous talks, workshops and training sessions on parenting skills, marital relationships and stress management for schools, the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), the National Library Board and other social service agencies.  She has been a guest speaker for television and radio programmes on family life and counselling issues as well.
