Suitable for:

  • Ages 8 to 12 years old
  • No prior experience needed

Camp Structure:

  • 4-day Camp (Completed within a week, 1.5 hours/day)
  • Online Classroom
  • Max 1:6 Instructor to Student ratio

Camp Requirements:

  • A working laptop or computer (Recommended system - CPU: Intel Core i3-3210 3.2 GHz / AMD A8-7600 APU 3.1 GHz or equivalent, RAM: 2GB) with a strong internet connection, and a working web camera.

Part A: Choose a Camp (4-Days, Mon to Thu)

  • Camp 1: 23 Nov - 26 Nov
  • Camp 2: 30 Nov - 3 Dec
  • Camp 3: 7 Dec - 10 Dec
  • Camp 4: 14 Dec - 17 Dec
  • Camp 5: 21 Dec - 24 Dec

Part B: Choose a time slot (1.5 hours daily)

What will your child learn?

  • Learn coding concepts using the popular Minecraft Education Edition platform https://education.minecraft.net/
  • Learn specially curated algorithms (Including code sequences, loops, booleans, if-then-else conditions, variables and more) and write code to build amazing things in Minecraft Education Edition.

Here's what your child will experience at the 4-day camp…

Students will get to experience programming in a 3D environment with real-life educational scenarios, and challenge themselves by coding one or more projects every day.

  • Day 1: Introduction to Minecraft Education Edition
    • Intro to Minecraft Education Edition (MCEE)
    • CodeThinker Coding in MCEE
    • Coding sequences using the Agent
  • Day 2: Using loops in coding
    • What is Loops?
    • Building a block again and again
    • Using loops for building projects
  • Day 3: Data variables
    • What is Variables?
    • Variable properties and different types of variables
    • Using Data variables in calculations and projects
  • Day 4: If-else conditions
    • Conditions and If-Then-Else
    • Making decisions in code using conditions
    • Using Conditions and Loops for final projects

Our camp is supplemented with our proprietary online learning where students can access coding notes, class recordings, homework assignments, and also serves as a safe place for students to discuss/connect with their peers and instructors.

Qn: What do I need to prepare for this camp?

Qn: Does my child need to attend the same timeslot for each day?

Ans: Yes, students will attend the same time slot for every day of the 4-day camp.

Qn: My child is younger than older than 12 years old, do you have any courses for older kids?

Ans: Yes, we do offer the PythonThinker 8-Day Online Coding Camp for older kids aged 11 and above.
