No refunds will be entertained. If you cannot attend, you may choose to transfer your place to another person or treat it as a donation to BF's Building Fund.
2. Rooming - Please try to get your own roommate. If you do not have one, BF will try to pair you up. However in the event that BF cannot match you with a roommate, we will upgrade you to a single room at your expense.

HOW to get there & back?
- You are responsible for your transportation to and from Bintan Island via Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Please arrive between 3pm (check-in time) and 7pm on 19 Dec and leave Bintan after the retreat on 25 Dec. Please buy your ferry tickets with Bintan Resort Ferries by clicking the followoing link: http://www.brf.com.sg
- Hotel will provide FREE transfers to and fro hotel and the Bintan Resort ferry terminal. We will provide a form from the hotel for you to fill in after you have bought your ferry tickets. We are currently liasing with the ferry operator to see if we can get a special discount code and will inform you via email later.
- Please purchase your personal travel insurance for the duration of your stay.
Getting there on 19 Dec 2025:
You will be departing from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.
We recommend you book on the 2pm or 5pm (Singapore time) ferry on the 19th of December to Bintan. This will allow you sufficient time to check-in and gather yourselves before the retreat starts at 7pm. Kindly look out (after September) for additional ferry departure timings, which are usually added when there is demand during the holiday season.
Upon arriving at Bintan, you will be transferred to the hotel in a FREE shuttle service provided by the hotel - a 15-min ride from the ferry terminal.
Getting back on 25 Dec 2025:
Please book your return ticket on the ferry departing at 2:35pm or 6:35pm (Bintan time) on the 25th of Dec. As mentioned above, kindly look out (after September) for additional ferry departure timings.
The hotel's FREE shuttle will bring you to the ferry terminal on the day of your departure.
You will be arriving at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore. Do book your pick-up in advance to avoid long waiting times.
BF is conducting a poll to see whether there is enough interest (for 4.45pm arrival at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal) to rent a bus, to bring retreatants from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Paya Lebar Station. There will be extra costs for retreatants taking the bus.
