PLMC 90th Anniversary Blood Donation Drive 2022

Introduction:Paya Lebar Methodist Church is hosting a blood donation with Singapore Red Cross in celebration of her 90th Anniversary on 6 February 2022 from 10.00am time to 3.30pm time over 12 half hour time slots.Registration:- We encourage you to register early. - You may register in groups of up to 2 persons per time slot. Entry will only be allowed when all in the group reservation have arrived.- Please print / take a picture of / bring the electronic registration for each donor to present at the donation site on 6 Feb 2022.- If you need to cancel your registration, please go to Registration Confirmation email sent to you and click on the “View and manage your order online” link. It will take you to the Eventbrite website where you will need to set up a free account if you don’t already have one to access the cancellation button.- Please remember to bring along either your physical NRIC, SingPass IC or driver's licence for blood donation registration with Singapore Red Cross.Blood Donor Basic Requirements:There are some basic requirements donor will need to fulfil in order to be a blood donor. You may be a donor if by 6 February 2022 you:- are aged between 16 and 60 (Youths aged 16 and 17 will need to complete and bring a signed parental consent form.)- weigh at least 45kg- are in good health and did not have fever in the previous four weeks- do not have any symptoms of infection (e.g. sore throat, cough, runny nose, diarrhoea) for at least one week- have a haemoglobin level of at least 12.5g/dL for females, and at least13.0g/dL for males. (A test will be administered by trained nurses at the donation site.)While at PLMC:- ALL donors will have to show proof of completed vaccination (ie at least 14 days after their second dose as shown on the Covid-19 Vaccination Card or on the TraceTogether app). Please also note that only the TraceTogether App or Token can be accepted by law for SafeEntry. - Entry is strictly on a registration basis, and no walk-ins will be entertained.- Please arrive at least 15 minutes earlier to clear the SafeEntry, registration-checking, and blood screening stations. Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before your registered time slot.- Please wear a mask at all times and observe safe-distancing measures. Do adhere to all prevailing safe management measure advisories from the authorities.- Please do not come to church if you are feeling unwell.- Please be patient and co-operate with the ushers, so that together we can safely carry out this meaningful event.
