[4-sessions] Basic Buddhism Course (Dharma and Cultivation) Module Four

At Compassion and Wisdom Vihāra, our Dharma classes, meditation sessions, and retreats are thoughtfully structured to offer a nurturing space for deepening one’s understanding of the Buddhist path. Rooted in the Mahāyāna tradition, these sessions areconducted in Englishto make the teachings accessible to contemporary practitioners in Singapore.Each class is designed to support personal growth, inner well-being, and mindfulness in daily life.To encourage meaningful learning and quiet reflection, we keep our group sizes intentionally small.This creates a focused and supportive environment where participants can engage deeply with the teachings and receive guidance suited to their pace and needs. Whether you are new to the Dharma or looking to deepen your practice, we offer a welcoming space for learning, reflection, and connection.To help sustain these offerings, participants are invited to make a small contribution towards the running costs of our classes, practices, and retreats. If you feel inspired to offer additional support, you are most welcome to do so. As we arrive at the final module of the Basic Buddhism Course, we warmly invite you to deepen your understanding and bring your learning full circle.Module Four (4-part module) builds on the foundations laid earlier, guiding participants to reflect more deeply on the Buddha’s teachings and to live them with clarity, compassion, and wisdom in daily life.Whether or not you attended the previous modules, you are most welcome to join. Each session is designed to stand on its own while supporting your broader Dharma learning journey.Unlike traditional theory-centred classes, this course continues to emphasise practical application that helps you nurture mindfulness, stabilise your thoughts, and cultivate inner calm amidst the pace of modern life.Under the guidance of Venerable Shi Chuan Jia, participants will explore key Dharma themes and discover how these teachings can support harmony at work, in relationships, and in one's personal well-being.To maintain a meaningful and interactive learning environment, each intake remains intentionally small. This encourages genuine sharing, thoughtful reflection, and personalised guidance throughout the sessions.
