The Lunar 7th Month is often known as the Hungry Ghost Festival, also known as Zhongyuan Festival in Taoism and the Yulanpen Festival in Buddhism.
Most people often misunderstood this month as a month to be feared and the time when the Chinese “appeased” the Ghosts. Join us as we debut the myths associated to this month while we discover the truth of this festival and find out why these myths exist.Together, we will witness some of the rituals and rites associated to the Hungry Ghost Festival at one of the temple while understanding in depth with us what they mean.
