Singapore party collective, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/mugicsoundsystem/" title="https://www.instagram.com/mugicsoundsystem/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MUGIC</a> is bringing the party into the cinema with a very special friend / guest from Lisbon, and joining him will be Singaporean stalwart of a DJ / Producer, Halal Sol. - "Come as strangers, leave as friends." <a href="https://www.instagram.com/black.pomade/" title="https://www.instagram.com/black.pomade/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Black Pomade(Whoopee / Manzo Edits / Last Forever Records)</a>Lisbon circuit regular Black Pomade is a DJ and producer originally from Milan (Italy), founder of the Ruínas collective and the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/whoopee.lx/" title="https://www.instagram.com/whoopee.lx/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Whoopee</a> party series.Heavily influenced by the NY Disco scene and the Chicago House originators, he's known for his melting pot of analog synths, groovy basslines, and syncopated beats.His sets travel through lots of House, Disco, and Acid records, filling the dance-floor with high energy and big smiles.Besides his regular shows in Lisbon and Milan, throughout the years he had the chance to bring his sound around Europe and Asia, playing in places Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Vienna, and Sofia, among others, sharing the line-up with artists like Emmanuelle, Kamma&amp;Masalo, Don Carlos, Satoshi Tomiie, and the living legend Nicky Siano. He started making music in his bedroom in 2013 and later experimented with hardware controllers to incorporate a 'live' feel to an otherwise digital genre. It was not until 2018 when he started to bring his live sets out.His music is influenced by 90s house music and is characterised by wafting synths and deep, hypnotic groove. He incorporates controllerism into his live sets, blending an organic feel into electronic music. His immersive take on electronic music has seen him win the approval of the underground electronic music scene in Singapore. His recent house EP “How Many” with Glasgow based Lava Lava has seen positive reviews from the greater house music community abroad.When not dabbling in house music, he produces and remixes other artists’ works. This includes Singaporean larger-than-life rapper B-gourd's EP Veggie Raps vol 1, singer- songwriter Charlie Lim rework of ‘Zero-Sum’ and electronic producer Intriguant.
