The Enneagram of Personality is a dynamic personality assessment tool that dwelves into the core motivations and issues of a person in his everyday life, be it at work or in his personal space.

For example, some profiles are motivated by success, some by relationships, some by knowledge, and up to 9 core motivations. Knowing what motivates yourself and others is a powerful way to influence colleagues, bosses and clients. This can also be used to grow staff personally and professionally.

Learning the Enneagram opens your eyes to a whole new perspective on how you perceive others. This will transform the way you work with others as a result of gaining new insights about yourself and the people around you.

Trainer Profile

Mr Gerald Ong is a trained facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and materials and Points of You® Practitioner. For 6 years, Gerald was one of the top sales agents for an engineering as well as financial consulting firm, closing up to a total of 6-figures at one time.

Graduated in 2014 with a Degree of Commerce in Marketing from Murdoch University, Gerald went on to complete his AQF Cert IV in Training & Education from Australia-International Institute of Workplace Training, along with his WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment from Institute of Adult Learning, Singapore.


Mr Thomas Frederick Lim is a Professional Coach and Counselling Therapist with a decade of experience in mental toughness interventions and executive coaching. He has an extensive background in clinical and forensic research in the behavioural sciences. Thomas has the unique ability to assist individual clients in assessing opportunities and risks, as well as gaining insights to their personal psyche through his coaching. At the core of Thomas’ approach to coaching and consulting is his dedication to be having authentic and meaningful conversations with his clients.

Coaching and Training Experience

Thomas leverages his insights into personality psychology and behavioral science to help his clients understand their professional and personal challenges. His coaching clients are namely civil servants, entrepreneurs, financial advisors, and full-time students. Therefore, he is well attuned to working with such individuals on their career challenges. Thomas is particularly skilled in incorporating the Art and Science of Neuro-Linguistic Psychology and Psychometric Assessments like the Enneagram Profiling Systems into his training and coaching sessions to make it relevant for clients in areas of Stress Management, Conflict Resolution, and Career Development.

Counselling Practice

Thomas has provided counselling services and interventions with clients from various backgrounds and needs. He has worked with mental health professionals from healthcare and government organizations to create workshops and training programs to enhance clients’ internal motivation and self-efficacy. Thomas is professionally trained in various counselling approaches, which are namely Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. He has also facilitated numerous group counselling sessions with clients, and focus-group discussions with executives in the healthcare, public and private sectors particularly in the area of Effective Team Building.

Cancer Survivor and Champion of Philanthropy

As a cancer survivor, Thomas strongly believes in the notion of giving back to society, as well as helping individuals who are in dire need of social support and second chances in life. He volunteered at the Salvation Army and also donated to the Children’s Cancer Foundation. He is also an affiliate volunteer at Acorn Quest, which is an organization that provides lifetime support to ex-offenders and their caregivers.

Education and Training

Thomas is a Chartered Management Consultant and a Professional Member of the International Enneagram Association (IEA). He is a Certified Master Practitioner in Neuro- Linguistic Programming and a Certified Master Enneagram Executive Coach. He is a Psychology Graduate from Monash University in Australia and earned his Specialist Diploma in Counseling in Singapore. He is an aspiring polyglot and a language enthusiast.
