A sort of "journey" within his solo discography. With a careful choice of songs taken from the first album "Tijuana Portrait" up to the eleventh "FlamenColtrane".


Israel Varela is one of the most accomplished artists of his generation and for the past fifteen years he has been one of the most sought after Jazz / World / Flamenco musicians in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and America, constantly traveling around the world.His originality and distinctive style as a Composer, Drummer, Singer, and Producer have allowed him to perform with the greatest exponents of Jazz, Flamenco, Classical music, and Pop such as:

In June 2022, the iconic Singapore music venue Blu Jaz reopened its live music program with the Jazz Loft, located on the 3rd floor of it’s premises at Bali Lane.

The mission of this new space, is to showcase jazz, and improvisation, as an evolving art form, rather than a museum-piece, presenting those artists, both local and international, that are part of the forward motion, and artistic development of the music.
