Get ready to explore nature and have a blast with ACRES Outdoors at Bukit Batok!
ACRES Outdoors aims to help people experience Singapore's rich biodiversity outdoors, in Singapore's remaining areas of natural beauty, learn wildlife etiquette when meeting wild animals, and behave safely around wildlife like snakes, monkeys and monitor lizards.
Bukit Batok ("cough hill" in Malay) is an outcrop of Gombak Norite, one of the oldest igneous rock formations on Singapore island. This rock becomes fertile soil as it weathers and much of the hill is still covered in lush tropical rainforest. Animals found there include Malayan colugos, squirrels, lizards, snakes and monkeys.
