Trainer Bio:

Pauline Goh – Folk Artist & Decorative Arts Educator

Since 1996, Pauline Goh has been teaching and sharing her passion for art and craft, especially in Folk Art and Decorative Painting. As one of the pioneers in this field in Singapore, she travelled widely to learn from master teachers in the United States, England, Australia, and beyond.

Her classes soon attracted not only local students but also learners from neighbouring countries and as far afield as France, America, Bahrain, India and Japan. By 1998, as her student base grew, Pauline expanded her repertoire of crafts to include Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Sewing, Ribbon Craft, Silk Stocking Flowers, Clay Craft, Resin Art, Marbling, various techniques of Decoupage, Mosaic Art, Crochet, Batik Painting, Statue refurbishment and Acrylic Painting on diverse surfaces.

Her skills and creativity were further fueled by her students’ enthusiasm for learning. Pauline enjoys the challenge of creating and developing new projects, ensuring that every class is both enriching and enjoyable.

To help her students maintain their passion and skills, Pauline often organized Art and Craft workshops with a charitable purpose. These not only allowed students to create for a good cause but also fostered lasting bonds of friendship and community. One of the most memorable of these projects was in August 2024, when Pauline led her students in a large-scale wall painting at Ling Kwang Home. The event was both a beautiful artistic achievement and a shared act of giving back.
