Ready to build your craft from the inside out?

This 2-day intensive with Cheryl Chitty Tan is designed for actors who’ve never had formal training, or for those looking to revisit the fundamentals with fresh eyes.

Rooted in Stanislavski’s principles, the workshop helps you move beyond “pretending” to performances that are truthful, present, and alive. Through acting exercises, script analysis, and scene work, you’ll learn how to:

  • Connect honestly to the given circumstances of a role
  • Build presence and vulnerability on stage or on screen
  • Strengthen your craft with tools for sustainable growth

Learn to stop pretending, and start living truthfully in the moment.

This programme is presented by The Actors’ Society (theactorssociety.sg).

Please note that this is a TWO DAY workshop, and participants are expected to be present for both full days.

Dates:

11 Sep 2025 (Thu), 10AM - 6PM

12 Sep 2025 (Fri), 10AM - 7PM
