During the Hungry Ghost Festival, streets of Singapore will be filled with lights and smokes from candles, incense sticks and joss paper. Are you equally puzzled as many of us about why do they light incense stick, candles and burn Joss Paper; and wondering what is the origin of these practices?

Come join us for a Fun and Informative tour as we visit the “Supermaket” of Joss Paper as we discover the hundred types of joss paper, find out their differences and individual purpose.

Get your chance to understand how these joss paper are manufactured in the past as compare to the modern days. We will also discuss how to burn responsibly and how ensure that the recipients will receive them.

Lastly, if you want, challenge yourself by participating in some joss paper origami session and learn about what they meant. Through the session you will find out the “tangible” and “intangible” benefits of doing so.
