🌿 What happens when the forest becomes your healer?
Like many of us growing up in urban Singapore, Jovena had little connection with nature beyond school classrooms. But years of travel slowly opened her heart to the wonders of the natural world.

In 2021, while struggling with burnout, family challenges, and pandemic blues, she stumbled upon forest bathing. What began as a simple walk in the woods became a turning point — nature became her medicine, helping her find calm, courage, and self-acceptance.

That journey led her to answer a calling: to guide others in mending their relationship with nature and themselves. Today, she leads Gentle Walks as a certified Forest Therapy Guide (ANFT), blending her training in psychotherapy and counselling with the healing power of the forest.

🌱 Join us for alt.TALKS #5, where Jovena shares her journey from boardrooms to forests — and how gentle living can transform the way we think about success, wellness, and connection.

What to Expect:

  • Jovena’s personal journey from burnout to healing through nature
  • How forest bathing works and why it matters for mental health
  • Reflections on redefining success and living gently
  • A warm, open space for questions and conversation
