Marking his return from Boston, Andrea Cui presents a night of original music, alongside some of the most exciting young voices of jazz in Asia.

Andrea Cui is a trumpeter and composer from Singapore. He achieved finalist in Berklee Brass Showcase 2023, and is a recipient of the Ray Kotwica award, Berklee World Tour Scholarship, Al Natale Scholarship, as well as a full scholarship at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. Well versed in multiple genres, Andrea has performed with celebrities such as Andres Cepeda, Gilberto Santa Rosa, and Ledisi, and can be found on numerous records with local and international artists alike.
Sayaka Uenami is a composer and pianist based in Tokyo, Japan. She studied jazz piano under Yuki Arimasa at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. Her big band arrangement was selected as a finalist for the 2020 SCI (Society of Composers,Inc.) Jazz Composition Award. On October 19, 2022, Sayaka released her first album, "Flora", under the Brilliant Works label.
Jason Ryu is a Korean trombonist and composer. Since 16, he has been a regular member of the Blue Note Beijing Jazz Orchestra, playing with guests such as Kris Davis and Ingrid Jensen. He is the winner of the 2023 Berklee Brass Showcase, honorable mention in the Yamaha Young Performing Artists Competition and 2024 Jazz Education Network Young Composers Showcase, and recipient of the Melba Liston award.
Jonas Cho is one of the most highly sought-after saxophonists in Hongkong, having performed with Ted Lo, Daniel Chu, and Cy Leo. As a participant of the Siena Jazz Workshop 2023, Jonas performed alongside Aaron Parks, Gilad Hekselman, Michael Mayo, and Reinier Baas. In the summer of 2023, Jonas released his debut single “Beauty and the Beast".
