We welcome you to join us at the Symposium "Antimicrobial Resistance in the Asia Pacific & Its impact on Singapore" in Singapore.

This symposium will provide a forum to generate discussions among key stakeholders and experts about the challenges and latest developments that influence the understanding and management of antimicrobial resistance. Speakers and participants will engage in discussions about surveillance and control, diagnostic innovations and technologies, social and behavioural influences, and the One Health Approach, from the global, regional and local perspectives. You will hear from keynote speaker Prof Ramanan Laxminarayan, Founder/Director of the Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy, Washington, and speakers from South East Asian countries, etc.

Jointly organised by the LKCMedicine Centre for Global Health; National Centre for Infectious Diseases; Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore; Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology; DSO National Laboratories; and supported by the Ministry of Health, Singapore.

By Public Transport: Nearest MRT Station would be Novena.

By Driving: Please enter via Jalan Tan Tock Seng or Mandalay Road. Public carparks are available around the Clinical Sciences Building, along Mandalay Road.
